It is often said; 'when the value of something is not known,  abuse is inevitable'. God in His infinite mercy decided to bless you in midst of the lots and you hold it as a responsibility to know why.

Here are the five main reasons God blesses people

1. This is one of the most important reason Jesus Christ came to earth; The gospel of Jesus carries  the fullness of blessings(Rom.15:29). Jesus came to give you all good things that pertains to live. He came with power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessings(Rev.5:12).

2. To establish His covenant; God is a covenant keeping father. He blesses to validate the covenant. But remember in covenant, each parties have their various roles to play.

3. To promote His kingdom; Believers are blessed primarily to promote God's kingdom(Matt.6:24, Hagg.1:9). If you are not a kingdom promoter, you are limited to God's resources.

4. To bless humanity; God blessed to you to bless others. You are blessed to a blessing(matt.25:40). You are blessed to make the blessing a blessing(Gen.22:18). Budget your resources to bless others.

5. To enjoy life; (1Tim6:17). God don't want you to continue to endure life. That is God chose to bless you to enjoy life.
